New Pics

I loaded some new pictures of the swap quilts that I made from the blocks that Martha Clouse, Marie Roper and I swapped during 2003 through 2007. They are on webshots, http://community.webshots.com/user/QuiltEve?vhost=community.

Projects, Projects, Projects

So little time, so many projects. I'm anxious to start a couple of new projects. One is a Yankee's quilt for my husband, Fred. Another project is a shadow trapunto quilt. But I need to finish the other four projects that I'm working on first!

Two other projects...

The Winnie the Pooh quilt will be donated to the silent auction at church. The quilt is hand appliqued, fused applique and machine embroidered (butterflies at the top).
I am hand coloring the other quilt with colored pencils. It is a whole cloth quilt that has been longarm quilted. It takes a long time...

One of my current quilting projects. I started this one last January. The blocks are embroidered with stencils that I digitized. The sashing strips and corners are also outline embroidered. I will paint them once I have completed the binding. The quilt measures 90 x 90.

Getting ready to go to work. It will be another busy day at work. Not enough time to do all that needs to be done. But it's good to be busy. Make the most of the day!
